Malcolm's Seascape Portfolio
A small selection of my seascape portfolio.
The Rumps, Cornwall
Taken from the east side.
Widemouth Bay, Cornwall
Taken from the viewpoint on the coastal road just on from Widemouth Bay. A rare relatively calm day compared to the rest of the week.
Blyth East Pier and Lighthouse
Overlooking the beach towards the pier and lighthouse.
Amble Pier
Amble is a seaport town on the coast of Northumberland, England. It lies at the mouth of the River Coquet, and the nearby Coquet Island is visible from its beaches and harbour. However on this particular day all we had was view of Amble Pier disappearing into the mist. Made a very nice atmospheric shot all the same.
Cromarty Firth
Overlooking a small pier to the Cromarty Firth in the Scottish Highlands and capturing one of the many oil rigs seen in the region.
Bamburgh Castle
Overlooking the beach towards Bamburgh Castle. The castle can be found on the northeast coast of Northumberland, England. With the receding tide there are plenty of wet sandy areas providing interesting reflections.
Receding Tide
Watching the receding tide retreating along the beach at Bamburgh to reveal these rocks with a few rolling waves washing in and out between them.
Brighton Pier
A interesting shot of this popular seaside destination.
The Old Jetty, Amble
The mist rolled in and the water flattened and the old jetty danced in the water as the birds came to rest awhile
